Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is a Spanish Pop/Flamenco artist. When she was a teenager she was involved with traditional as well as popular music. However, her musical interests have expanded to encompass soul and hip-hop. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and famous musician has described the voice of the new artist as sweet and sharp but with bite. El Mal Querer gained her notoriety and commercial success after her first album Los Angeles was released in 2017. The album earned her an award called the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd, was released in 2021. The third album by Motomami offered songwriting collaborations with numerous producers and artists like Cory Henry and James Blake. The set was released in March 2022 following an appearance of the single Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia did her solo performance on the show for the very first time ever on the program. The Rosalia of Motomami, who took home an award for the Latin Album of the Year and three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami was also the first female to win one.
